The recipe I used!
The inspiration to spend a Sunday smoking a meatloaf, came from an e-mail that linked to an amazing Smoked Meatloaf recipe, from one of my favorite female BBQ girls… Jess Pryles!
I would like to start by saying when it comes to smoking meat in our house, I am the Sous Chef ! The ‘better half’ executes my visions! I don’t do the cooking on the smoker, but I am real good at finding recipes for delicious things to smoke! When I saw the recent e-mail come across from Jess Pryles, with a beautiful, bright red, crisp meatloaf; I was sold!
Let me start by giving you the recipe that I used.

I used Avocado Oil to saute the onions. I always use eggs that are pasture-raised. I usually get Vital Farms Pasture-Raised Eggs from Whole Foods Grocery Store if I can’t find local!
Trader Joe’s Grocery Store, has a great selection of oils and vinegars. I love their apple cider vinegar, which is used in the recipe for the glaze!
Grass-fed grass-finished beef!
For this recipe I used 100 percent grass-fed grass-finished beef! I only use grass-fed grass-finished beef. Why choose grass-fed grass-finished beef?
There are many reasons! A number of them health related. A few of the benefits of grass-fed beef include that it is lower calorie than grain-fed beef and that it contains more Omega-3 fatty acids than grain-fed beef! The second reason is the taste!!

Killer-Hogs BBQ Sauce

Shout out to my wonderful neighbors for introducing us to this sauce! We are not worthy of their smoking and grill skills, but we are working on it!
This sauce is ABSOLUTELY OUTSTANDING!!! It worked so well with this meatloaf. I cant encourage you enough to try this sauce.

Hardcore Carnivor Red Seasoning
This seasoning is outstanding!! The only thing I would change about the recipe is perhaps changing from 3 tablespoons down to 2 tablespoons of Hard Carnivore Red. 1 tablespoon to mix in the meat and 1 tablespoon to dust over top. 2 tablespoons of Hard Carnivore Red dusted on top was a little strong, but it was still delicious!!

Perfect Football Sunday Dinner!

A lot of us are looking at spending a lot more time at home this Fall and Winter 2020. The pandemic has us cooking at home more than ever! This smoker was the absolute best purchase we’ve made since the pandemic started!! If you are going to cook at home, you might as well make it fun! I look forward to lighting a fire, sipping something fabulous, and smoking some high end dinners for Football and Holiday season!

We used Applewood to smoke the meatloaf. It came out excellent. Applewood is always adds a hint of sweetness to the meat, and that was perfect for this meatloaf!
The meatloaf smoked a little over 4 hours and we applied the glaze every hour. It cooked perfectly! A bright red crust formed on the outside of the meatloaf, and the inside was tender!

I used my sweet and savory stove-top glazed carrot recipe.
I also made cauliflower mashed ‘potatoes’ from scratch. The perfect ‘Sunday Clean Comfort Food’ !
I hope you are able to enjoy this Sunday Smoker recipe as much as we did!! If you are creative, I am sure you could find a way to incorporate this into an oven-baked meatloaf!! We are all going to be spending a lot of time at home! Take a chance and bake this up! Make it your own! Please share your success in the comments below!!
Cheers!!

My sister bookmarked this webpage for me and I have been going through it for the past several hours. This is really going to benefit me and my friends for our class project. By the way, I like the way you write.
