What you will need to make this Orange Honey Glazed Shrimp:

  • Shrimp: I used the Frozen Argentinian Shrimp from Trader Joe’s ! I like this shrimp because it is ready to go right out of the bag! They also sell it at Costco. Whatever Shrimp you like will work, just make sure you thaw it out before using!
  • Oranges: You can use any oranges for this! I used organic navel oranges! You will need to juice them for the recipe!
  • Coconut Aminos or Soy Sauce: You can use either Coconut Aminos or Soy Sauce for this Orange glazed Shrimp. I prefer Coconut Aminos. The benefit of Coconut Aminos is that it contains almost 70% less sodium than most store brand Soy Sauce ! This is the one I use!
  • Garlic: You will need 3 to 4 cloves of minced garlic. If you are sensitive to garlic, you can reduce this!
  • Avocado Oil: Avocado oil is a heart healthy oil! This is the one I use! Not all Avocado Oils are pure, so make sure you use a good one!
  • Arrowroot Powder or Cornstarch: I prefer Arrowroot Powder for its nutritional benefits! Cornstarch can be highly processed but if it is all you have, it will work! And you are only using a little bit!
