What you will need to make these Buffalo Cauliflower Wings
New Primal Buffalo Wing Sauce
1/2 head cauliflower (makes enough for 2-3 people)
garlic powder
salt & pepper to Taste
1 egg
gluten-free panko bread crumbs
ranch
celery

Loving all things made with Buffalo Cauliflower Wings!
When deciding to make these wings, I wanted to try out a more ‘traditional’ wing style and a ‘breaded’ style (that would replicate a boneless wing) ! Let me be clear..if you are expecting these to taste ‘just like real’ buffalo wings, you will be sorely disappointed. But if you are looking for an a low calorie alternative, these meat free buffalo cauliflower wings are your solution!
These cauliflower wings can be used for a number of recipes other than just ‘wings’. These make a great filler for buffalo chicken tacos, a good topping for a buffalo chicken pizza, and would even make a good topping for a buffalo ‘chicken (not chicken)’ ranch salad! How about a buffalo chicken quesadilla?!! These are just a few ideas!

How I made these wings
I made these wings 2 different ways. The first way was just roasting the cauliflower that was broken down into florets and tossing them in buffalo sauce. The second way was using a very, very simple breading technique to create the most amazing breaded cauliflower buffalo wing bite!

I liked both ways but I was partial to the ones dipped in egg and panko. I used gluten-free panko to keep the recipe . I will give you the overly simple recipes for both below!!!
Really both ways are fantastic! If you want to save a few calories go for the non-breaded. The sauce is what brings it all together. Clean sauce, clean ingredients= feel good appetizer…..no guilt, all the taste!

Breaded Buffalo Cauliflower Wings
Ingredients
- 1/2 head cauliflower …broken down into florets (1/2 head for every 2-3 people)
- 2 cups gluten free bread crumbs
- 2 eggs whisked
- 1/2 tsp garlic powder
- salt and pepper to taste
- 1/2 cup Noble Made Wing Sauce
- 4 oz ranch for dipping
- 1 rib celery for garnish
- 1 can Avocado oil spray
Instructions
- preheat oven to 400 degrees
- line baking sheet with parchment paper
- spray parchment paper with avocado oil spray
- combine the garlic powder and gluten free bread crumbs and mix well
- set up a dredging station. Put whisked egg mix in a bowl and gluten free bread crumb mix in a bowl.
- dip each cauliflower in egg and then into panko mixtures. coat lightly with panko, then place floret on parchment line baking sheet.
- cook for 25-30 minutes at 400 degrees
- toss breaded cauliflower wings in buffalo sauce. garnish with salt and pepper to taste if desired.
- serve with ranch and celery

Non-Breaded Buffalo Cauliflower Wings
Ingredients
- 1/2 head cauliflower broken down into florets (1/2 head for every 2-3 people)
- 1/2 cup New Primal Buffalo Sauce
- 4 oz Ranch
- 1 rib celery, cut
- salt and pepper to taste
- 1 can avocado oil spray
- 3/4 tsp garlic powder
Instructions
- preheat oven to 400
- line a baking sheet with parchment paper
- spray baking sheet with avocado oil
- bread cauliflower down into florets. spray a light mist of avocado oil on florets. sprinkle garlic powder on florets.
- roast cauliflower florets at 400 degrees for 25-30 minutes
- toss cooked cauliflower florets in New Primal Buffalo Wing Sauce. garnish with salt and pepper to taste.
- serve with ranch and celery
