How to make these Air Fried Dill Pickle Spears

  1. Pre-heat air fryer to 390 degrees .
  2. Pat the pickle spears dry with paper towels, so that all of the coating sticks better to them.
  3. Mix 1/4 cup mayo and 1/4 siracha together for a spicy dipping sauce!
  4. You will need 3 shallow bowls or plates to set up your dredge station. I used paper bowls for easy clean up.
  5. Add the flour to the 1st bowl.
  6. Add whipped egg and 1/4 cup milk to 2nd bowl.
  7. Add panko bread crumbs, garlic powder, onion powder, paprika and salt if desired to the 3rd bowl and mix.
  8. One at a time, toss pickle spear in flour, then egg, and then finally panko mixture.
  9. Spray rack of air fryer with avocado oil along with a very small spray on either side of pickles to make them extra crispy. This is not required, but will make the panko get super crispy!
  10. Place pickles in a single layer in the air-fryer basket! Cook at 390 degrees for 9-11 minutes, flipping half way through.
  11. Every air fryer cooks a little differently. I have a Cosori XL Air Fryer and 11 minutes with a flip half way through was perfect !
